UNLOCKING THE MYSTERY OF FAITH
Matthew 17:14-20 (NIV)
14 When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him.15 “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. 16 I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.”
17 “You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” 18 Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Healing: receiving from the Father through prayer, fulfillment of Holy Scripture imparted to all of mankind that recognize the glorious nature of the Father
Faith as defined by Hebrews 11: 1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Sit with me unburdened by confusing thoughts drawn from mental pictures imprinted upon neuro-receptors designed to assimilate the totality of that which is perfected by the senses.
There is a place in your mind intentionally designed atop bundles of sensory receptors, precisely encoding electrical impulses into experiential references that model every thought without control in response to constant stimuli activating inherent physiological activities. Understanding how thoughts are created is vital to understanding the miracle of divine healing.
Thoughts encompassing the totality of reactive experience predisposes behavioral judgment when in conflict and juxtaposed to that which has no experiential basis. For this reason any conceptual response to stimuli activating inherent physiological activity foreign to prerecorded experiential reference is immediately rejected by a mind relying upon pre-existing solutions that reinforce judgments that initiate decisions. The mind when left to function according to sensory response excludes from consideration any solution that cannot be justified in an experiential reference.
For any new conceptual response never before experienced to be accepted as a viable response to stimuli affecting physiological activity it must be introduced through the senses: seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling, tasting. Frequency and variety of the experiential reference determines the placement of the response compared to other alternatives.
Faith for any purpose conceptually defies experiential reference until it is manifest in a discernible experience, physical or spiritual. To experience a faith-based response requires faith as a concept to be established in the mind by sensory experiential references in frequency and variety greater than other alternatives which proves to be impossible without application of that which instills faith; the promises of God revealed in Holy Scripture (Romans 10:17 faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God) purposefully assimilated as experiential references through reading, speaking and hearing to the extent necessary to place the chosen promise atop all previously recorded references used to influence judgments that initiate decisions.
Healing of the body is a gift freely given to all those willing to recognize the glorious nature of their Heavenly Father. For this purpose Holy Scripture brings to life every word of promise needed to build faith to receive healing, physical and mental. When applied systematically as revealed in The Seven Circles of Healing, faith rises to capture the body healed at the intersection where the truth defined in the spirit realm collides with the hope firmly affixed in the natural.
In Matthew 17:20 (so Jesus said to them, “because of your unbelief; for assuredly I say to you if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind is not go out except by prayer and fasting”) Holy Scripture reveals unbelief as being the point of departure from owning and exercising the authority the disciples had been given over sickness and demonic possession. Their lack of faith when confronted with this serious affliction guarded by a spirit exercising is legal right to stay, left the boy condemned to a life of misery. Even though the disciples had been given authority over sickness and demonic possession their experiences had not prepared them to execute their authority over this new adversary; a spirit wielding legal access as a weapon of spiritual warfare; to which was given the instruction to pray, seeking guidance into the spirit realm wherein lies all legal access by the demonic and then to fast thereby securing assignments of angelic ministers of breakthrough empowered by the spiritual act of denying self for others (fasting).
In closing, without attention being given to that which is already been given to man, the gift of healing cannot be fully obtained. From ancient remedies to every word of Holy Scripture, care has been taken to continually demonstrate to the world to trust in the One who is the giver of every good and perfect gift. (James 1:17)
Fasting 2/10/19
It is important for all that desire to fast, to recognize as foundational to the act of self denial is a God-given purpose; without which inflames the flesh even to the point of complete submission to physical effects that destroys the pure act of sacrificing oneself for another. Yes, fasting is simply a form of giving of yourself for others recognizable as a powerful weapon in the battle for breakthrough that opens doors held closed by spiritual forces whose only desire is to kill steal and destroy.
