History of our community outreach
We have had a long history since Winter 2016 of going out into our immediate community to take food, drinks, Bibles, clothing, encouragement, prayer, and spiritual nourishment,…sometimes multiple times a week. Over the years we also spent time meeting and praying for our business neighbors, and even cleaning up the sidewalks & streets. We thank the many volunteers who partnered with us to go out year-round in the heat and the cold to share the love of Jesus with those we found to encounter on sidewalks, bus stops, alleyways, street corners, parks, parking lots, and in local businesses. We saw many come to JESUS and get saved! We saw many healed of physical & emotional pains! We saw many delivered from oppression, depression and torment! We saw many encouraged and lifted up by compassion and love shown to them! Glory to God!
Our season of organized Outreach has come to a close as we are being directed to new means of serving and connecting with our community. However, the fruit of our efforts has been abundant and evidenced by those that have become a part of our Deep Passion Community! Never forget that we are each individually called to look for the desperate and the lost each and every day and share the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to LOVE our neighbors!
