OPENING THE EYES OF THE BLIND

Matthew 9:27  When Jesus departed there, two blind men followed him, crying out and saying, “Son of David, have mercy on us.”

John 17:9  I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.

Vision as a conceptual physiological experience sits atop humankind’s senses as being the most impactful in its contribution to experiential assimilation. By design that which enters the human consciousness as a three dimensional hologram resides permanently in layers of purposefully designed sub-atomical fields of energy that capture exactly, by way of finely tuned bursts of electromagnetic impulses, holographic patterns of varied lengths of light reflected from everything that exists in the natural realm. All of creation without exception participates in a carefully orchestrated nuance of purpose and paradox, intended to predispose acceptance of Jesus Christ to be the one and only source of access to life eternal in the presence of He that became man to fulfill ancient prophecy revealed in Holy Scripture, none more accessible than returning sight to the blind.

Opening the eyes of the blind metaphorically saturates scriptural interpretation as being the act of bringing to light that which was hidden in darkness. Not to dispel but to expand this commonly held interpretation will reveal the true nature of restorative prayer as it applies to the recovery of sight, un-impaired. The idea that blind eyes can be restored to an original design capable of perfectly processing light for assimilation introduces the concept of divine restoration as being attainable by faith through prayer. Divine restoration sought through prayerful petition adjudicates a deviation from original design by focusing faith squarely upon the circumstance identified in the petition. Faith by so doing, initiates a supernatural transformation that continues only as long as faith for more is securely bound to the petition. When faith wanes so does the collaborative effort to transform that which is impaired back to its original design. On the other hand, when faith abounds transformation accelerates to a point of instantaneous application of scriptural truth to the physical impairment rooted in darkness.

As a guide to making available the gift of perfect vision I have identified a systematic approach rooted in Holy Scripture unlike more familiar approaches bound to ungrounded pleas with no scriptural context.

1. James 3:9  With that we blessed our God and Father, and with that we cursed men that have been made in the similitude of God.

With your mouth, bless your Father in Heaven for the miracle that is perfect vision.

2. Matthew 9:19  So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did his disciples.

Be prepared to acquiesce to My timing.

3.  1 John 5:19  We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

Focus your prayers on the goodness of God, thanking Him for un-impaired sight yet to be received.

4. Mark 4:16   And these likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who, when they hear the word, immediately receive it with gladness.

Strip yourself of any religious impediment that will hinder your recognition of you enjoying perfect vision.

5. James 3:7  For every kind of beast and Bird, of reptile and creature of the sea is tamed and has been tamed by mankind.

Relinquish to Me anything that is hindering your ability to exercise your authority over spiritual influences meant to kill, steal and destroy.

6. Hebrews 11:17   By faith, Abraham when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promise offered up His only begotten son.

Present to Me as your sacrifice the joy in knowing Jesus Christ the Messiah as your Savior.

7. Isaiah 29:9   Pause and wonder! Blind yourselves and be blind. They are drunk, but not with wine, they stagger but not with the intoxicating drink.

Take care to continually pursue the Christian life as your source of strength to protect that which has been given in love.

Final thoughts

All things good and all things perfect have their source in relationship with Me. There is no limit that can be placed on My desire to fulfill that which reveals My love for you.
